05. Natural Hair Color: Well, when I was really young it was a dark blonde (see ‘Beyond the Charade’ cover), then I began dying my hair at 18. So according to the roots I see every 6 weeks, it looks like a light brown now.

Starbuck's Drink: I prefer Pete’s or Kean, but since we don’t have either of those here in Montana, I will sometimes go to Montana Coffee Traders or Cowgirl Coffee….although I now have several friends that work at our local Starbucks so I will swing in and support them from time to time. Coffee has become a very big deal with our family and friends. We make lattes and americanos and cappuccinos at home mostly, and very late at night, with both kids doing a far better job making them than me. And to finally actually answer the question, my drink is a skinny latte, no flavor. Iced in the summer, hot in the winter.

01. If you could have any other profession, what would it be? I can’t imagine, I was made to do what I do.
02. What are you afraid of? Sharks and mountain lions

04. What do you value most in your friends? Their faithfulness and loyalty.
05. When you’ re a grandmother, what do you want your grandchildren to call you? MIMI
06. If you were president for a day, what would you do first? Totally revamp and update all the interior décor of the white house and have my friend Stan design staff uniforms.
07. If you could have dinner with any person, who would it be and why? Honestly, I can’t think of anyone I’d rather share a meal with than my husband and kids. They are so funny and smart and a joy to be with.
08. What is the most meaningful present you’ve ever received? A new wedding ring while vacationing in Venice, Italy where we renewed our vows, with said ring, in a cathedral with a priest who spoke no English. It was all a surprise!
09. Who told you he/she loved you last? Depending on when you read this, it could be anyone. We say it to each other a lot around here.
10. When you looked at yourself in the mirror today, what was the first thing you thought? I need a facial and to try to get in bed earlier tonight

14. Who is the first person you call when you have a bad day? Other than Jesus? my mom or dad. Or Brian
15. What is the first thing you do in the morning? Pray, then coffee, then school or feed horses, depending on the day.
16. What was the first concert you ever went to? Scott Wesley Brown. I was like 10, staying in Bakersfield with my Aunt Martha. My cousin Caroline took me.
17. Who do you feel is the best female artist out there right now? Other than me? Kidding of course…. Oh geez… I like so many for completely different reasons. I don’t think there is one that is ‘the best’… I am really enjoying Carrie Underwood right now. I love India Arie, I adore Tina and Erica (Mary Mary), I love Imogene Heap for her simplicity and sincerity, Jill Scott can sing a song, bjork has power, range and emotion, Beyonce is above and beyond most. Cece Winans is remarkable and will always be my favorite
18. What’ s the most relied-upon spiritual truth in your life? That Jesus loves me (John 3:16), knows me (Jeremiah 1) and has my life in his hands (Psalm 31:15).
